School Climate Survey School Year 2014-15 School Year 2013-14 School Year 2012-13 All parents/guardians, students and school personnel are asked to participate in the Comprehensive School Climate Inventory (CSCI), a scientific survey to assess school climate. This year will mark the third time that CCSU will take part in the CSCI online survey, after first introducing it in the fall of 2012. Results of prior year surveys can be found below. The survey helps your school, and the overall district, in understanding specific climate trends, perceptions and opportunities that are used to identify and prioritize growth areas within each of our school action plans. Studies have shown that school climate plays a big factor contributing towards students’ success in school, which is why your participation in this survey is very important. The CSCI will take only 15 to 20 minutes to complete online. The survey questions are clear, precise, and easy to understand. All responses are completely anonymous. No results will be available for any sub-groups with fewer than 10 respondents to help maintain anonymity. For staff and families, you may take the survey for each school you work at, or each school in which you have children enrolled.
