CTE held their annual Induction Ceremony for students who met the requirements for membership in the National Technical Honor Society on March 26th. Sixty students were inducted as new members of NTHS, while nine second year students were recognized as returning members.
At the Vermont Skills USA Conference on April 2, 36 students from the Center for Technology, Essex stood on the medal podium for placing first, second or third in their technical or leadership competitions.
Students in the Computer Animation & Web Page Design (CAWD) program at CTE were recently featured in the Burlington Free Press and on WCAX as they launched a balloon into space.
Travis Farley, a junior in the automotive program of the Center For Technology in Essex Junction, was recently presented the Vermont Automobile Enthusiasts’ Golden Wrench Award. The group is a non-profit organization that was founded in 1953 and is dedicated to the preservation, protection, promotion and appreciation of automotive history and technology.
